This page explains COVID-19 travel arrangements with ArchaeoMuse Academy, so you do not need to worry about booking an experience with us. 

As lockdown is easing, the prospect of being able to travel is somewhat exciting, and thanks to the influence of our nine Muses, we offer exceptional experiences both in the UK and Europe.

It is vital for us to ensure that we, and in turn, you, are kept up-to-date with COVID-19 rules, feel both safe and confident to travel to one of our destinations, and feel confident when you are on an experience. We can assure you that we check for daily updates and what measures need to be implemented both by us and with those we collaborate with.

We will arrange for you to take your Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test before flying back to the UK too.



  • We will provide face masks, hand sanitiser, and packs of anti-bacterial wipes.

  • Most of our experiences are outside, in the fresh air.

  • We will ensure that the places we visit are following COVID-19 health and safety rules.

  • We will ensure that any coaches we use are deep cleaned between each trip and at the end of the day, in order to minimise the risk of bacteria spreading.


  • We have reduced the capacity of each experience so that social distancing rules can be met

  • Where necessary, we will use coaches with more seats than passengers

  • Some dinners are included in each experience, we will only use spacious restaurants, and will mostly eat al-fresco.

  • We will also ensure that the places we visit are following the measures in place.

  • We will remind all guests throughout the holiday to observe the protocols in place.

What does a Refund Credit Note mean for you?

  • A Refund Credit Note entitles you to rebook a holiday at a future date. 

  • You can use it to book any time up until the expiry date of 30th September 2021, however, the date you actually travel can be any time beyond that.

  • A Refund Credit Note is financially protected, just like your original booking. 

  • A Refund Credit Note retains your right to a cash refund, right up until the time it expires.

  • If you have not been able to use your Refund Credit Note to book a new holiday, you may request a cash refund to be made.

  • Our COVID-19 refund promise to you is that we will refund 100% of your money back if you are required to self-isolate due to COVID-19 and unable to travel. 
    We will require authentication if this is the case.

We completely understand that one might be concerned about booking a holiday at this time, but we would like to reassure you that we are closely monitoring the changes and advice given by ATOL and Government Officials in the UK and Europe, so where we offer our wonderful experiences.
